"What an amazing once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have the Silolona ship and its awesome crew at our disposal for our conservation and documentary film work."

"A sail through Indonesia with Silolona Sojourns need never be short on thrills."

"...A special thanks to Patti Seery and her amazing staff and crew of the Si Datu Bua for hosting our most recent whaleshark deployment expedition"

"Silolona, the 164-foot, five-cabin teak yacht, which was hand-built and modeled on traditional Indonesian phinisi sailing ships, is the finest vessel plying the South Seas for your dive trip aboard"

"Silolona Sojourns has been a trusted and invaluable partner supporting our conservation work in Indonesia. On our last expedition, we undertook an epic marine survey aboard Silolona’s luxury traditional Gaff Rig Phinisi, and Si Datu Bua. Our journey took us from Cenderawasih Bay in Northwest Papua, around the Birds, head and down to Misool in Southeast Raja Ampat. Along the way, we documented whale sharks feeding beneath the fishing bagans in Cenderwasih Bay, rare and massive leatherback turtles nesting on one of the last great nesting beaches in all the Pacific, and giant oceanic manta rays aggregating on seamounts off Misool Eco Resort. Without the unwavering support of Patti Seery and the incredible service of the Silolona team, this expedition would not have been possible."
